Required Equipment

For

All Runs

Your safety as well as the safety and enjoyment of others require that all participants have, as a minimum, the equipment listed below. 

 

Participation in 4 wheeling is inherently risky even with the proper equipment and safety precautions.  JustRuns 4 Wheel Drive Club, its Moderators and Run Leaders will do their best to see that participants operate safely but we accept no liability in the event of damage or injury occurring during a Run or event.

 

·       Seat Belts for all Passengers  This Requirement cannot be waived by the Run Leader.

·       Working Citizens Band Radio (CB Radio) (hand held CB w/ 12V cigarette lighter adapter or extra batteries is acceptable.).
HAM or FRS radios are NOT acceptable substitutes!) This Requirement cannot be waived by the Run Leader.

·       Full Size Spare &; suitable Jack

·       Fire Extinguisher

·       First Aid Kit.

·       Tow Strap (no metal hook)

·       Tow Attachment FRONT and REAR..    This Requirement cannot be waived by the Run Leader.

·       Reliable 4 WD Vehicle with 2 Speed Transfer Case

●    Vehicle Liability Insurance

·     Mexican Liability Insurance for ALL Mexico Trips

 

 NOTE:

Some runs require additional equipment based on the Run Difficulty Rating or based on the Run Leader’s opinion as to the equipment needed to successfully accomplish the trail.  A Run Leader has the final decision regarding any additional SPECIAL Equipment needed for his/her run but, the Leader cannot waive the need for the equipment listed above.  See Run Announcement Message and the Rating System or contact the Leader for questions regarding equipment required for a specific run. 

 

To avoid embarrassment, please make sure you have all the equipment needed when you arrive at the run.
