Silver Canyon Trail

The Silver Canyon Trail begins in the Bristlecone National Forest in the White Mountains  just northwest of Bishop California.  The elevation at the top of the trail is approximately 11,000 ft. (Approx. GPS N37 25.575  W118 11.190)   The trail descends steeply into the Owens Valley community of Laws CA. ( Approx. GPS N37 24.047 W118 20.740)  Along the way the views of the valley and the Sierra Nevada mountains are spectacular.  Also keep an eye out for Big Horn Sheep which frequent the area.    This trail is rated as a 1 to 1+ in Difficulty.
