Directions to the Mazourka Canyon Trail:
From San Diego take 395 north approximately 325 miles to the southern edge of the town of Independence CA. Take Mazourka Road east @ N36 47.835 W118 11.756 until it turns to dirt. Continue up the mountain climbing quickly from an elevation of less than 5,000 ft to more than 9,000 ft. Continue on the trail watching for signs to Papoose Flat. Continue northward until you finally reach Death Valley Road. (paved)
