Cleghorn Trail

The Cleghorn Trail is in the San Bernardino National Forest and begins just west of Lake Silverwood (approx. GPS N34 17.561 W117 21.299)  The trail ends on the frontage road just east of Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass. (approx. N34 17 .951 W117 27.420)  The trail descends steeply in places but is a well maintained fire road.   Along the way are spectacular views including good views of the twisty rail route up the mountains.  The trail is a 1+ to 2 in difficulty with a few alternate side trails that are more difficult.
