Directions to Los Coyotes Indian Reservation

From San Diego County
take Hwy 78 east to Santa Ysabel then Hwy 79 north to Camino San Ignacio on the south side of Warner Springs.  Go east on Camino San Ignacio several miles to the Reservation gate and Pay Station.  Continue up the road a couple of miles until you see a large stone water tank in an oak forest. 

From Riverside County
take Hwy 79 south from Temecula to Warner Springs.  On the south side of Warner Springs take Camino San Ignacio several miles to the Reservation gate/Pa Station.   Continue up the road a couple of miles until you see a large stone water tank in an oak forest. 

The road to the campground is suitable for all types of RV.

The area around the tank is the campground.  The campground has a few tables, fire rings and porta-potties.  Fires are permitted but please be careful to make sure fires are completely out before leaving camp.  Please leave a clean camp and take all you trash with you.

When 4 Wheeling in Los Coyotes Indian Reservation remain on existing trails/roads.

Note:  Los Coyotes Reservation has been leased to a private company for training exercises.  ONLY the Campground is open to the public on weekends, Friday PM to Sunday PM.  (Longer on some Holiday Weekends.) 

Four Wheeling is NOT allowed except during Pre-Arranged Special Events.  If you camp at LCIR, remain on the MAIN ROADS. Do Not Go on the 4WD Trails without Specific Permission from the Leasee.
