JustRuns Message Board 

The purpose of the JustRuns Main Message Board is for posting Run Announcements, Run Reports, Technical Questions/Answers and 4 Wheel Drive related Messages of General Interest addressed to the Group as a whole.

 The Main Message Board is NOT for “one on one conversations” between two people.  This is not a “Chat  Room.  The Main Message Board is NOT a forum for Political discussions, including 4WD related “Political” discussion.  (we encourage people to be active politically but please, not here.)  Private FOR SALE ads are permitted however Commercial ads are not allowed.

 All messages sent to the Main Message Board are reviewed by one of the Moderators before they appear on the Board.  Messages that do not fit the above criteria do not get posted.  In addition messages that are in bad taste, un-civil, are personal attacks (flames) or that are “one on one” conversations between two people are not posted.

 Replies to messages on the Board should NOT include the text of earlier messages “stacked” with the reply.  Instead of including the earlier message in your reply, please supply the context for your reply in the subject or in the body of your reply.  If one needs to include a small portion of an earlier message, to clarify the reply, they should cut and paste only the needed portion into the reply.

 The purpose of “Moderating” the Main Message Board is to keep postings concise and on track for its intended purpose.  Please use the email or other forums for other messages.  After posting a message sometimes there is a delay before it appears on the Board pending approval by a Moderator.  We try to review messages daily but sometimes there is a delay of a couple of days or more.  This happens mostly when there is a weekend run which all of the Moderators attend so there is no one to review the message.  Whenever a message is REJECTED, the Moderators try to explain why to the writer’s satisfaction.
